I think other people in San Francisco should know just how great Wood Windows and Doors is. All the five star reviews here are definitely for a reason! We needed our bedroom windows replaced asap and He was able to come take measurements and everything the same day I called! If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would. Ivan and Ruben, co-owners of the company, are some of the nicest guys I've ever dealt with. And they can do anything! I had a 1926 house that needed 2 custom-sized exterior doors. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on doors because it's about to go on the market (an estate sale). I got a ridiculously expensive quote from Home Depot for fiberglass doors (which is all they could find for that size but were not conducive to an almost 100 year old house), so someone said call Wood Windows and Doors. Ivan and Ruben drove over that afternoon, measured the spaces, and asked if I'd be ok with used doors (since new custom wooden doors would be over my price range), which I was. They went to 3 different places and found me 2 beautiful used wooden doors, relatively inexpensive and perfect for the style of the house, cut them down to the sizes I needed, and installed them the next day! They even trued up some interior doors, replaced some drywall in a ceiling, and drove me to a hardware store when I didn't have wheels that day! You won't be disappointed with this company. Promise.

We recently had to have our house resided and we got quotes from several vendors in our area, some very well known for their catchy phone numbers and jingles. Wood Windows and Doors was the best one we found by a wide margin.
Our contact, Ivan, gave us several options and designs, explained the differences in wood material, delivered samples and was much more responsive than the others we contacted. He even helped us navigate the insurance process making sure we received the most from our claim.
When they began the installation, I was put in touch with the crew lead, Ruben, and we talked through the schedule, quirks of the house and other things he did not want to take for granted. It was much appreciated as our home has some irregularities. We encountered one small hiccup early in the installation and WND immediately corrected the issue with no questions asked. I was pleasantly surprised as it was my error that caused the issue.

I contacted this company to get my door lock repair without knowing they specialize in windows/doors replacements, and they responded 4 mins after I sent a request and made sure I was comfortable with the possible outcomes and prices before we took it any further. Great attitude, very caring, They told me they could take care of my door problem, they replaced the lock the same day with a new one. They covered all the areas before they started and clean afterwards, when they finished I ask them to give me a quote for my windows, they were able to repair 3 of my living room windows they tuned up and replaced the ropes the same day. VERY VERY VERY REASONABLE PRICES compared to other locksmiths that tell you the price of installing a new lock only after they drilled your lock.

Wood Windows and Doors did a terrific job with designing and installing our 19 windows. Ivan was very knowledgeable and took great care to explain the product, how they would work, and in measuring for the windows themselves. And the 3-man installation crew did careful, meticulous work and an amazingly thorough clean-up job. I have to say WND is definitely a lifesaver. My house is pretty close to Bart Station, which meant loud sirens / traffic / bus noises at all hours. I was once skeptical at some of WND's noise reduction claims, but after a few weeks of uninterrupted sleep post-window installation, I'm definitely a believer. The windows themselves perform as promised, with excellent sound attenuation, and they look even better than we thought, with no reduction in the glass area. My husband and I are very satisfied and highly recommend Wood Windows and Doors.

What an amazing experience! I cannot praise all the Wood Windows and Doors staff enough. My sales agent Ivan was ALWAYS available for any questions by BOTH email and phone throughout the entire process - including a final inspection after the windows were installed. Our building has some very complicated angles and Ruben - lead installation expert - was able to manage them all. The office staff ALWAYS answers the phone and keeps you updated throughout the entire process. Five windows and three swinging doors with transoms replaced. Noise reduced 50-75%.
